On the 14th of August 2022, a lady murdered her 2 year-old son because she wanted to continue going to night clubs and parties with her boyfriend. This incident happened in Zambia.
According to what is been said she is 22 years old with the name Maike Mosuwe and her boyfriend Mwila Chilufya Bwipwa all together killed their son because he was interrupting their party lifestyle.
She took the child to her elder in Lusaka in the pretense of family visit. She then began neglecting the little boy and spending her nights in night clubs and parties with her boyfriend. She leaves the boy with her sister unattended to basically compelling her sister to take care of the young boy. Her sister had no problem until she began staying out late at night at clubs and parties and when she returns, she doesn’t look out for her child.
With this happening her sister got fed up with the situation and asked her to move back to where she came from. She realized her party lifestyle was affecting her parenting with the little boy. Her sister gave her transport and some for upkeep. She took the money and instead of leaving, she used it to lodge in a motel with her boyfriend. It was then they planned everything. It all happened when they had to attend a party one evening. There was no one to take care of the boy so the mother took a pillow and suffocated the boy to death. 
They went to the party and after they were back from the party, she took the boy’s dead body to her sister’s house and laid him on a couch and ran away. Her sister returned from work and saw the little boy on the couch but later rushed him to the hospital and he was pronounced dead.
It was then reported to the police and she was arrested with her boyfriend. She claimed her boyfriend made the suggestion. They have been detained in police custody.
