In this page, we are going to look at how to generate our credentials as students of KNUST.
What are MY CREDENTIALS?
Credentials consist of a username (mostly the first letter of your first name and your surname combined) and a password.
What is it USED FOR?
With your credentials, you get access to all KNUST online platforms.
For example, before you get access to your virtual classroom, log in to the Aim App or check your results or connect to the WiFi, you need your credentials.

Steps involved in generating your credentials and resetting your password
STEP 1
Go to KNUST APPS PORTAL
STEP 2
Click on Student
STEP 3
Go to Forgot Password
STEP 5
Enter your Student ID and Click continue.

Check if the email you entered is active before continuing.

Go to your email
STEP 7
Look for UITS-KNUST. Try checking your Spam.

Click on Reset password
STEP 9
Your username will be automatically generated.
STEP 10
Enter the password
Confirm password
STEP 11
Click reset.
Go back to KNUST APPS PORTAL to your student portal and input the username you wrote down, the new password you set, and your student ID
Note
Avoid giving out your credentials indiscriminately.
